Abandoned cottages and crofts can be found throughout Scotland and the islands, family owned crofts go back generations containing several ruined dwellings some back to the early thatched stone black house`s from the highland clearances, the White houses followed then todays modern homes current families are living in, always seek permission where possible as almost all are owned by someone nearby. Note: Many below no longer exist today.
